We’ve had several large overpriced companies come in and offer a free roof evaluation. They all send “sales men” with no roofing experience. I chuckle to myself as they go on telling me of the latest and greatest high tech equipment they have. I let them waste their time doing the evaluation and act like they know something about roofing. At our main warehouse, I did all the roof repairs myself, and after seeing how old the roof was, none of them believed that there was no leaks. When we moved into this building, I tried some of those “big” companies, and they seemed to send out a different crew each time and fix the same leaks over and over.
